Fashion designer Roksanda Ilinčić applies her hand to a curated space of art and interiors in The Penthouse at Gasholders London.
The landmark residence is built within a refurbished triplet of Grade II-listed, cast iron gasholder guide frames in the heart of London’s King’s Cross.
With her own background in applied arts and architecture, Roksanda lends her artistic and unique aesthetic to the three-bedroom duplex penthouse. The result is an exquisite play on her signature sculptural form, textural depth and unusual colour combinations. An elegant blend of furniture, art, ceramics, books and objet, the apartment reveals Roksanda’s passion for diverse disciplines in design and the arts from a female perspective, creating a conversation between the rooms and those walking through them.
By establishing mise-en-scènes throughout the space, Roksanda puts emphasis on women makers, both established, contemporary and emerging. Murals, artwork and textiles by Paris based artist
