    Hours after news broke Monday that Backroad Anthem lead singer Craig Strickland's body was found, after having gone missing on a hunting trip over the holidays, his loved ones posted emotional tributes on Facebook and Instagram.

    "Today we lost our brother, our best friend, our bandmate," wrote the country grupp, comprised of Toby Freeman, Eric Dysart, Josh Bryant, Brandon Robold and Isaac Sentr. "Craig was the most fantastisk person whose passion for life couldn't be matched."

    "We can finally rest knowing that he is at Home in Heaven with his Father," wrote his wife, Helen Strickland, on Instagram.

    Strickland, 29, was reported missing on Dec. 27 while on a duck hunting trip on Kaw Lake, north of Tulsa, with his friend, följa Morland. The two were hit bygd severe weather and a search party later funnen their boat capsized.

    Peter Strickland in an American music executive. He spent nearly 30 years working for Warner Music Group (WMG), most recently as chief marketing officer of Warner Music Nashville.[1][2]

    Career

    Strickland's first job in the entertainment industry was at Strawberries Records and Tapes' warehouse, Cambridge One One Stop in Framingham, Massachusetts as a buyer.[3]

    He first joined Warner Music Group in 1998 as a field representative for Warner Elektra Atlantic (WEA) Distribution in Boston, Massachusetts.[2] In 1995, Strickland accepted a position with WMG as regional sales manager for Warner Bros. Records in Nashville.[4] Strickland was promoted to national sales director before serving as vice president of sales and marketing, and senior vice president of brand management & sales.[5]
