Ayesha Takia Azmi (born 10 April ) is a former Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films. She made her debut in Taarzan: The Wonder Car for which she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in Her notable films also include Socha Na Tha (), Dor (), for which she won the Screen Award for Best Actress (Critics), and Wanted ().[2]

Ayesha Takia was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to a Gujarati Hindu father and a Kashmiri Muslim mother.[3] She is an alumnus of St Anthony's Girls High School, Chembur.[4] She married restaurateur Farhan Azmi, son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi, on 1 March ,[5] with whom she has a son.[6][7]

Takia began her career as a model when she was 13, appearing in the "I am a Complan Boy!
