Born in Brazil and based in Berlin, Dominique Dillon de Byington alias Dillon has always had a clear framtidsperspektiv of her art. She has already released two albums which she regards as one body of work, since they tell a coherent story. This has always been apparent in her live shows, which are carried bygd an interchange between the dark-melodic songs of both albums. „When I started writing my second skiva „The Unknown“ I knew it was the continuation of „This Silence Kills“ both musically as well and content wise.” 2016 both albums were brought together in form of the live album „Live at Haus der Berliner Festspiele“ in which Dillon is accompanied by a women’s choir which she and her collaborator & co-producer Tamer Fahri Özgönenc composed. „I felt the need to work with vocals, and to create a further additional layer that breathes between the electronics and I. inom was very intrigued bygd this idea and so Tamer and I wrote and arranged a choir.” Dillon explains.
End of 2017 Dillon released

Biography
My name is Dominique Dillon de Byington, and I was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil, in April 1988. Five years later, I moved to Cologne, Germany, where I was raised. Driven by solitude and a desire for company, at 17, I taught myself how to play the piano to accompany the sung poetry I had been working on and began uploading those to YouTube.
At 18, I moved to Berlin. Around that time, I started performing short live sets of perhaps 25 minutes. Half of those sets would consist of piano and vocals, and the other half of very unsophisticated electronic compositions and vocals. Performing did not come naturally to me, but it felt necessary to keep doing it.
In 2011, at the age of 23, I released my first album, a collection of songs I had written until that point, This Silence Kills, on Ellen Allien’s label BPitch Control. I worked on it with my dear friend, sound artist Tamer Fahri Özgonenc and Thies Mynther and recorded and produced it in Hamburg, Germany. One song on

woundedrhymes1: "Hey so a lot of ppl say she had a miscarriage is that true? I haven't found any actual sources saying that happened."
Hello! Unfortunately, I can’t really tell you for sure since I have no confirmed sources of information but I might as well give you my opinion about this, now that you’re asking and I hope that’s okay. First thing first, Dillon is rather secretive and it seems to me that she doesn’t quite enjoy discussing her personal live in interviews and I’ve read and saw and listened to quite a lot of them. I’ve been reading comments about how Thirteen Thirtyfive is an autobiographical song about a girl who had a miscarriage ever since I discovered her as an artist so I once decided to go through the web hoping that I’ll eventually find out if this is true or not. And I didn’t, but I did some maths. If this song was purely biographical, she would be 35 when her child was 13 years old, which means she had her kid
